Original Style Land Cruiser Door Mirrors

Tech Tip: If mirrors are used where roads are heavily salted or in coastal regions, then CCOT recommends you double seal outer edge of mirrors with a clear silicone to prevent salt from penetrating layers and delaminating glass edge from backing. Delaminating may occur around outer edge of mirror in heavily salted environments. This is a rare occurrence, but we have heard of this happening in heavily salted regions. This salt reaction applies to both Toyota and Aftermarket mirrors.
Note: Chrome mirrors have same range of view adjustment as original FJ62 Electric Mirrors.
Note: Mirrors are not recommended for use where salt conditions are present. Manufacturer does not warrant mirrors for salt damage.
Tip: Try the following if Mirror adjustment is too tight to allow full range of view. Remove the glass from body by unscrewing the philips head set screw located at the bottom of the mirror housing. Once mirror assembly has been removed, then spay the ball head assembly on the back of the mirror with a silicone lubricant spray. The silicone lubricant will reduce the friction for easy glass adjustments.
